‘Bazyaft’ , an annual literary and research journal published by Post Graduate Department of Urdu, University of Kashmir (PGDU,KU) was released here today. The present volume termed as ‘golden jubilee number’ carries some important research papers read out during the golden jubilee celebrations of the department held last year, besides photo feature of the event.
The 400- page voluminous journal has research papers from stalwarts of Urdu writing like Hamidi Kashmiri, Sulaiman Athar Javeed , Mirza Khalilullah Beigh, Ali Rufa Daftahai, Khateeb Syed Mustafi , Ateequllah, Zahoor-ud-din Nusrat Chodri, Ghulam Nabi Khayal, Abdul Haq, , Artaza Kareem, Qamar Rayees, Aslam Jamsheedpuri, Deepak Budki, Shuhab Anayat Malik,Qazi Jamal Hussain, Shahid Hussain , Qazi Afzaal Hussain , Ibn –Kunwal, besides the faculty department of Urdu
Bazyaft, has already carved a niche for itself in literary circles here in J&K and elsewhere and present volume is another rich edition to its 40 year temporal expansion. |
