| Cultural Council Iranian embassy visit KU | | | Early Times Reporter Srinagar | June 11 Kareem Najafee and Qasim Muradi from the Embassy of Iranian Cultural House, New Delhi, visited University of Kashmir and exchanged ideas with the faculty and students of department of Persian and cultural club members of the University. They also exchanged ideas with Vice Chancellor Kashmir University Prof Riyaz Punjabi as well. They were the honoured guests at a very grand function hosted by the Persian Department to honour and welcome Prof Riyaz Punjabi as new Vice Chancellor Kashmir University, Prof Mohammad Munawar Masoodi Head department of Persian , besides students and scholars and the faculty of the Department of Persian were also present on the occasion . Prof. M. M Masoodi in his address informed Vice Chancellor and the Cultural Councils Kareem Najafee and Qasim Muradi that so far 13 Persian students have qualified NET, 4 students have qualified SET and many have qualified Kashmir administrative service ( KAS) and 3 have qualified IAS so far .Head Persian department said that the department has latest facilities of research, a computer lab, micro film reading facility , internet and a very modern language laboratory. The visiting Council members assured to provide all support and cooperation in exchange programme between KU and Iranian Universities. |
