| Harshdev for high level inquiry against working of CMO | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | June 11 Leader of the Panthers Party in the Assembly, Harsh Dev Singh, has called for a high level inquiry into the working of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in Udhampur on the ground that his failure in implementing the development plans had reduced the health sector in the district to shambles. In a communication to the Director Health Services Jammu and the Deputy commissioner Udhampur, Harsh Dev Singh has demanded a high level probe into the factors that delayed implementation of the plan, sanctioned in 2007,for setting up new buildings for the health centres and for upgrading the equipments in those centres. In the communication the Panthers Party leader has blamed the CMO for having attached experienced doctors and paramedical staff at the district hospital with the result in the rural dispensaries in the district class IV employees and junior technicians would attend to the patients. He said he has sought a probe in the failure on the part of the CMO to execute the projects sanctioned in 2007,were to be completed by April 2008.
