| Panther Party holds dharna against coalition government | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | June 11 A delegation of JKNPP activists led by state president Bansi Lal Sharma, held protest dharna against failures of the coalition government to attend to the burning problems of the people of Jammu province. As per a release, addressing the dharna state president Bansi Lal Sharma demanded immediate release of salary of SPO’s which is pending for the last six months and also stressed for provision of relief and ration items to Jammu migrants at par with Kashmiri migrants as per supreme court orders on priority. JKNPP said that the congress led government has totally failed to redress the long pending demands of clerical cadre employees, diploma electric engineers and Doda migrants. JKNPP leaders have asked government to activate its machinery and arrange transport facilities in the city and rural areas, where life as come to stand still. They further demanded that the relief and ration to Jammu migrants should immediately be provided to the uprooted families who are almost in starving situation, the release added. |
