Academy organizes interaction with artists

J&Kan interaction programme with the artists belonging to visual art and theatre was organized by the J&K academy of art, culture and languages at K.L. Saigal hall here today.
Interacting with the secretary academy Zafar Iqbal Manhas, artist apprise him about the problems with regard to development of theatre in the state. They urged upon the secretary that local groups of the state, so that outsiders also knows about state theatre.
The secretary gave a patience hearing and promised for the betterment of artists and the promotion of art and culture in the state. He said academy is committed that neither the art nor artist could be deprived for the dues as per the scheme of the academy meant for the promotion art and culture. N.D. Jamwal, Abhiyana Kemmu, Savita Bakshi and Shamima Akhter were the artist present on the occasion.
Savita Bakshi presented vote of thanks and earlier Dr. Sudhir Mahjajan welcomes the guests and also conducted the proceedings of the programme.
