| Kashmir Div. clerical staff to join ‘Kaam chodo hartal’ from June 12 | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | June 12 AS the government had invited the representatives of clerical Association on June 14 but due to the failure of the meeting between the government officials and the clerical association, representatives, the clerical staff of the Kashmir division also decided to join the on going ‘kaam chodo hartal’ from June, 16, in a meet held here today. In this regard the striking clerical employees hold a massive rally during which the employees raise anti-government slogans. Speaking on the occasion, Co-coordinator, All State clerical staff employees association, Ram Kumar Sharma said that since all the clerical fraternity is on strike for the last 78 days, due to which the works in all the state departments is come to halt and as the result the common people are suffering very much, but the government is paying no heed towards the genuine demands of the clerks. He further informed that due to the anti-employees stand adopted by the government, the clerical fraternity of the Kashmir division also decided to join the kaam chodo hartal from June 16. The association further urged upon the government to redress the genuine demands of the clerks with in time. Among others who participated during the rally were, Ravi Singh Bhau, Sukhbir Singh, Bashir Malik, Annop Sharma and Ravidner Dutta. |
