To boost the literary and cultural activities in the State, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages organized Multilingual Mushaira in which the prominent and budding poets draw from the different languages i.e.e Dogri Hindi, Punjabi, Gojri, Kashmiri, Urdu and Pahari recited their poems.
Additional Secretary Savita Bakshi, while welcoming the guests and the poets revealed that the literary and the culture activity will not be confined only within the Urban but these activities will also be organized in the rural areas also so that the people could get the opportunity to express themselves in the field of Art, Culture and Languages.
The poets who recited their poems included Virender Kesar, Dr. Champa Sharma, Rattan Doshi, Dr. Anil Kumar and Usha Kiran , Dr. Agnishekhar, Dr. Aruna Sharma,aharaj Krishan Bahrat, Manoj Sharma, Viajaya Lakshmi, Surinder Kaur, Kuldeep Kaur, Taran Singh Azad, Rajpual Singh Mastana, Mohan Lal Ash, Prithvi Nath Kaul Sail, Swami Anterneerav Choudhary Anwar Hussain and Ghulam Rasool Asghar. |
