Sangarsh demands judicial probe into bungling in JU

Sangarsh, a movement for justice, equality, peace, prosperity and brotherhood at a meeting has reiterated its demand for judicial probe into the financial bungling, misappropriation of funds, extensions, promotions and backdoor appointments in the university of Jammu along with the resignation of Prof. Amitabh Mattoo, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu for his academic failure, degradation of research activities and non implementation of the academic calendar.
The Sangarshi’s in one voice has passed the resolution to fight to any extent for their demands. In the meeting, the sangarshi’s strongly criticized the JU authorities and some people with vested interests for leaving no stone unturned in crushing the movement and making such an undemocratic atmosphere at JU campus where every person is feeling suffocated in expressing their resentment towards the wrong policies of the head of the institution. They said that the behavior of the administration is forcing us to take the movement into the streets of Jammu region as the future of every citizen of Jammu is associated with JU.
Sangarshi’s lambasted Vice Chancellor for depriving the students, scholars and the people associated with JU campus of their basic constitutional right i.e. Right to expression.
The leaders of the movement haves shown their anguish against administration for the harassment of the students and scholars associated with movement.
The leaders of the movement called for their security from the state government as some miscreants and the people from administration are most likely to harm them at any level.
The meeting was attended by Ranjeet Sharma, Research Scholar, Vikrant Sharma, Former Secretary, Students Cultural council, Pavinder Singh, Rajinder Singh Manhas, Krishan Dev Singh, Ajay, Research Scholars, Vinay Sharma, Secretary Students Cultural Council JU, Suresh Kumar, Advisor Students Cultural Council JU and Akhmat Choudhary.
