| Veeri chairs Privileges Committee meet | | | Early Times Reporter

The Privileges Committee of Legislative Assembly which met here today under the chairmanship of MLA Abdul Rehman Veeri examined the status of various motions pending before it.
In today's meeting, the Committee examined a Privilege Motion brought by MLA Zahoor Ahmed Mir against a valley based Conservator of Forests Mohammad Shafi Khan and held thorough discussion on the issue.
Khan who personally appeared before the Committee put forth his view point on the subject. The Committee recorded his version and decided to hold further discussion before final disposal of the case.
Those present in the meeting included Sharif-ud-Din Shariq, Mohammad Sartaj Madni, Ghulam Hassan Khan, Khem Lata Wakhloo, Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Sofi, all legislators and Additional Secretary Assembly G. N. Mir. |
