| Secy. KVIB inspects Apricot, Seabuck units at Khalsti | | | Early Times Reporter
Srinagar | June 13
Secretary Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB) R. C. Sharma today visited Khalsti of Leh district and inspected Apricot and Seabuck thorn Food Processing units and interacted with the unit holders.
The Secretary also attended the valedictory function of Woolen Knitting training center at Sankoo in district Kargil.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma advised the unit holders to enhance the quality of products so that they receive well response in the market. He directed concerned to nominate the unit holders for taking part in exhibition which is being organized at state and the national level. He impressed upon the trainees to set up their own income generating units under Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme. He asked the district officer Kargil to ensure sponsoring units to various banks so that they could get the necessary credit from the bank for setting up their units. |
