Services of eleven specialists like physician, surgeon, gynae, pediatric, ENT, eye, orthopedic, dental, psychiatry, and cardiology and skin six specialists from government medical college, Srinagar would be available at the rural health mela Sankoo. The mela first of its kind in the district is being organized by the medical department, Kargil from June18 at Sankoo.
This information was given in a meeting held here under the chairmanship of chief medical officer, Kargil Dr. Gulcharan Singh.
It was told in the meeting that facilities like blood examination, urine spectrum examination, X-ray etc would be available at the health mela. Almost all modern diagnostic and treatment facilities will be available during the mela. |
