| Shiv Sena condemns Government’s discriminatory policy | | | JAMMU AUG-31- Expressing its serious concern over the alleged discriminatory attitude of State government towards Jammu region, Shiv Sena General Secretary Ashok Gupta has threatened to launch agitation in case the Government failed to give its due share to Jammu. Addressing media persons here today Gupta alleged that the successive governments in the state have always been Kashmir centric and did little to end the discrimination meted out to Jammu and Ladakh regions. Referring to the recent Cabinet expansion, Gupta alleged that Jammu has been given a raw deal adding that out of 15 Congress MLAs who won from Jammu region in the last Assembly elections, only three MLAs have been inducted in the council of ministers. He was also critical of the government decision to set up four more districts in Kashmir Valley against one recommended by the Wazir Commission set up for the purpose.
