| PDP workers hold meet, discuss election strategy | | Roop Lal stresses on door to door campaign | | Early Times Reporter

Senior PDP leader Dr. Roop Lal Sharma has stressed for the need to initiate door-to-door campaign by the PDP workers to highlight the unprecedented achievements of the coalition government during Mufti Mohd Sayeed's tenure as well as the overall performance of the PDP suppored coalition government of the State.
Speaking at a party workers meet of the Urban unit held at Janipur on Monday Dr. Roop Lal Sharma said that during the tenure of the PDP patron and Ex-Chief Minister Mufti Mohd. Sayeed party achieved such milestones which were next to impossible for any other leader adding it was Mufti Sayeed leadership that History was created when Muzaffarabad-Srinagar road was opened for the public.
He said that since elections are nearing the PDP workers must gear up to launch a massive public campaign to remind the people about the achievements of the party adding the party was getting tremendous support in Jammu region which needs to be strengthened and sustained.
Dr. Sharma said that public rallies corner meeting, and door to door campaign should be started forthwith so that the party fully prepared to take on the political rival during the election, who indulged in empty sloganeering and hoax promises.
Dr. Roop Lal Sharma ask the party workers to resolve to take the programme and policies of Mehbooba Mufti and Mufti Mohamad Sayeed led party to every home in Jammu and ensure that part get full support of Jammuites during the election.
Dr. Roop Lal Sharma ask the workers to strengthen the hands of party parton Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti so that their dream of converting this state into a model state is realized.
The meeting which was attended by Senior PDP leader of the Urban Unit also decided to hold the big rally in the coming days where senior PDP functionaries would speak about the programme and policies of the party before the public.
Speaking on the Occasion Senior PDP Leader Mustaq Ahmed asks the party workers to strengthen the party by displaying unity and integrity so that the party is strengthened at the gross roots level.
Those who attended the meeting include Mohd. Aslam, Parveen Sharma, Bholu Ram, Rakesh Gupta and Pawan Kumar besides Mustaq Ahmed and Dr. Roop Lal Sharma. |
