| Arms, ammunition recovered | | | Early Times Reporter Srinagar | June 17 Security Forces today claimed to have recovered arms and ammunition from Sumbal area in a raid during early hours of the day. Police sources told that in reaction to a tip off, cops of police , 22 RR and 163 Bn CRPF lauched a joint search operation. During the operation they recovered arms ammunition from the orchard land of Mushtaq Ahmad Parray and Bashir Ahmad Parray, sons of Ghulam Nabi Parray, resident of Goshbugh in Sumbal area. The recovery includes one Pistol, one Pistol magazine, five Pistol rounds, three AK magazines, 104 AK rounds, 25 Pika rounds, one GPS Germany, one Binocular high resolution, two hand grenades, two UBGL grenades, two audio cassette, one Plastic water bottle, one white Parka, one white pants, one snow Goggle, one Rack sack, one Sintex Tank, one motivation card in Urdu, one black Jacket and one Pressure Cooker. Police has registered a case in this regard. However no arrests were made in this connection till the reports came in. |
