| Army organizes 2-day medical camp | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | June17 In its endeavor to reach out to the local populace, Army organized a 2-day medical camp at village Lachhmanpura under Operation Sadvhavana which was inaugurated by Maj Gen DL Chowdhary, GOC, Tiger Division. Speaking on the occasion, Maj General Chowdhary emphasized that the aim of this medical camp was to provide medical assistance to the rural citizens facing difficulties in getting medical treatment. The medical camp organized by 1 JAKLI Battalion is a part of the effort by the Army to provide healthcare and medical assistance to the civil population living in interior areas. The medical team for the camp included the doctors from Army as well as civil hospitals. The medical problems of the senior citizens, ladies and children were given top priority. The team of doctors included Gynecologists, Pediatrician, Dentist, Surgeon, Medical specialist, Eye and ENT specialists. A total of 550 patients were provided expert medical advice and medicines. |
