| NCP leader redresses students’ problem | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | June 17 Randhir Singh President, NCP said in a statement here today said that the students who are applicable for the engineering and pharmacy courses in the Maharashtra state according to the notification issued by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra state need not personally present themselves for verification of documents as notified in the newspaper recently. As per a release, a group of students and their parents called on Thakur Randhir Singh this morning and apprised him about the difficulties being faced by the students of Jammu and Kashmir. NCP chief further said that J&K people are already grateful to Sharad Pawar, National President NCP and Dilip Walse Patil for reserving engineering seats for the children of migrants, children of Military and paramilitary forces posted in J&K and also children of J&K police and border refugees from Kathua to Poonch and Uri to Kargil, the release added. |
