Vijaypur, Nov 11: National Education Day was celebrated at Government High Secondary School Vijaypur and Samba, Bari brahmana etc. schools.
The event was organized at Vijaypur High Secondary School under the supervision of the school principal, Fateh Singh.
On this occasion, the principal of the school Fateh Singh, while highlighting the education day, told the students that in 1888, freedom fighter Maulana Abul Kalam Azad was born. November 11 is celebrated as National Education Day in India every year on his birthday. On September 11 2008, the Ministry of Human Resource Development decided that November 11 should be observed as National Education Day. Since 2008, November 11 has been celebrated every year as National Education Day. He was the first Education Minister of our country. He is known as a freedom fighter, educationist, and writer. Principal Fateh Singh was also present on the occasion along with the school teacher. |
