JAMMU, Nov 13: District Magistrate Jammu in exercise of powers vested upon him under Section 144 Cr. P.C on Wednesday banned the transportation of bovine animals to other districts.
As per an order issued here today, no bovine animals such as cow, oxen, bulls, calves etc should be transported from Jammu district to other districts except with written permission of District Magistrate or Additional District Magistrate Jammu under certain conditions being imposed from time to time. The order shall come into force with immediate effect and remain in force for a period of two months from the date of issue or if the order is rescinded, whichever is earlier. |
