56 players selected for national championship

Jammu, Nov 15: A total of 56 players of Jammu and Kashmir have been selected for National Bench Press Power Lifting championship (Men & Women) Sub Junior, Junior, Senior & Master equipped & Classic held at New Delhi from 23rd November to 27th of November 2019. The team was selected by All J&K State Power Lifting Association on the basis of recently conducted J&K State Bench press Championship. Before the final selection the team underwent a screening test conducted by J&K Sports Council official namely Ravi Singh Divisional Sports Officer Jammu, Ashok Singh Manager M.A Stadium and Satish Gupta Manager Indoor Complex M.A Stadium Jammu.
The officials of the association namely Ajay Sharma General Secretary & Rahul Sawhney Senior Vice President were present at the time of screening. The team is accompanied by Ajay Sharma (National Refree), Rahul Sawheny Team Manager, Deepak Jyoti, & Adil Ashraf Khan as team coach respectively.
The women team members include Kajol Chib, Amita Devi, Sakshi Koul, Suman Lata, Shalini Sharma, Rashika Handa, Surbhi Bali, Ruby Sharma, Simran Bumrah, Juhi Gupta, Monika Sharma & Upasna Mahajan. The men team include Varun Manhas, Neeraj Kumar, Vishwajeet Singh, Atish Sharma, Mohit Saini, Neeraj Singh, Atul Singh, Mehul Verma, Goutam Sharma, Chetan Dogra, Harshul Sharma, Varun Gupta, Syed Ali. Maqutaz Shakeel, Surjeet Singh Jamwal, Nikhil Kumar, Vishal Kumar, Shoy Gupta, Amandeep Bassan, Abhiyam Sharma, Gourav Sharma, Vishal Singh, Aniket Bhagat, Akash Malhotra, Aditya Sharma, Udayveer Singh, Sawan Kumar, Sandeep Banmotra, Satyajeet Singh, Vikrant Singh, Joginder Kumar, Vikramdeep, Roshan Sharma, Vickramjit Singh, Sandeep Singh, Pankaj Chib, Jagbir Singh, Rubhan Sharma, Rajesh Gupta, Gharjeet Singh, Vikram Sharma, Bimal Indu Sharma, Younis Ansari & Rahul Sawhney.
