A meeting of senior leaders of Pradesh Congress committee (PCC) was held here today at PCC HQ Jammu to take stock of preparations for the proposed Congress Convention scheduled to be held at Mini stadium Udhampur on June 22.
The convention will be presided over by PCC President Prof. Saif-ud-Din while the Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad will be the Chief Guest.
The party functionaries and senior activists of the party belonging to Districts of Udhampur, Reasi, Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban have been asked to participate in the Convention in order to discuss the current political situation and the preparations for the future course of action of the party.
The meeting was attended by Dharam Pal Sharma, MLC S. Parduman Singh, Yashapal Khajuria, MLC Amrit Malhotra, Th. Hari Singh, Shiv Dev Singh, Vinod Sharma, Ravinder Sharma, Vinod Mishra, S. Gurmukh Singh, Baldev Sharma, Amolak Singh, Bharat Gandhi, Darshan Raina, Anil Chopra and Maheshwar Singh. |
