| Mazdoors seek help from BSP | | | Early Times Reporter Katra | June 19 Mazdoor Dastkar (MD) union have asked Bahujan Samaj party (BSP) to support the case of MD Union, as both the organizations have same motto of upliftment of poor and downtrodden people of the society, who are the worst sufferers during the present day scenario. Addressing the workers Som Raj Teji of the union said, no attention is being paid for the upliftment of mazdoors, Safai Karamcharis, rehariwalas etc. During the meeting state gen. secretary, BSP Rakesh Wazir said that Bahujan Samaj Party completely supports the cause of Union and would leave no stone unturned in mitigating the problems of the people connected with this union. Later on both the leaders after the meeting met Addl. Superintendent of Police Katra Ashok Sharma and apprised him of the problems being faced by these people especially in Katra town. Sharma listened both the leaders patiently and asked for the redressal of their genuine demands at the earliest. The meeting among others was attended by co-ordinator Er. Ajay Singh, Bittu Massi, Ashok Kumar, Jagtar Singh Sindhu and Surinder Singh. |
