| Hockey events start from June 25 in Kashmir | | | Early Times Reporter

As part of the annual calendar of activities, the Kashmir wing of the Jammu and Kashmir Hockey Association (JKHA) is going to organize competitions in different age groups at Polo Ground, here from June 25.
The competitions will be held for two districts of Srinagar and Budgam in three different age groups of sub-juniors, juniors and seniors. “For different events the Association has invited entries from the interested clubs, institutions and departments and the same can be submitted with the association up to June 22 ,” resident secretary of JKHA Kashmir wing, G S Bakshi told SAN.
He said that after receiving the entries, fixtures will be drawn on June 23 at Polo Ground hockey field at 4 pm in the presence of captains of participating teams.
“It will be during these tournaments that Association will be looking into good stuff to be considered for selection in the state teams for participation at the national level,” said Bakshi. |
