| Winning start by J&K in Rugby | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | June 19 Jammu and Kashmir made a winning start beating Mumbai Schools 17-5 in the opening (12-a side) league tie of the All India U-20 Rugby Championship organized by Indian Rugby Football Union (IRFU) at Bombay Gymkhana grounds in Mumbai today. Reports reaching here said that Jammu and Kashmir made try thrice to secure 15 points and one conversion to take an unbeatable lead. Sarib Sajjad, Sahad-ul-Hassan and Hasib Aslam made try while skipper Hanan convered his kick to add two points to the team’s total. Now, in the second group match, J&K shall take on CCFC Kolkatta, the reports added. |
