| Brig Jaitawat visits Military Hospital | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | June 20 Brig S S Jaitawat, Deputy Director Medical Services (DDMS) 9 Corps, visited 166 Military Hospital at Satwari Cantt Jammu today. Brig Jaitawat heads the medical services in the 9 Corps which covers a large part of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir region involving troops deployed in difficult terrains and the medical services in the region cater to a very large population of ex-servicemen and their dependents. Brig Jaitawat himself is an anesthesiologist has held various important assignments as Head of the Dept of Anaesthesia at Base Hospital Delhi Cantt (BHDC) and later at Command Hospital Western Command Chandimandir. He inspected various wards and departments of the hospital and laid stress on the efficient management of the OPD services and promptness in providing effective and wholesome medicare to the clientele. He interacted with the patients and the service providers and gave useful tips in streamlining of the medical services in the Armed Forces. Brig Jaitawat has propagated the motto of “, MADHUR VAIVHAAR KUSHAL UPCHAAR” in his area of responsibility ever since he took up the assignment of DDMS. The inspecting officer expressed his appreciation for the excellent quality of medical and healthcare services being rendered by the hospital to its very large clientele of serving personnel and their families and also the ex-servicemen of the entire region. Military Hospital, Jammu extends a wide array of basic and specialized services to its clientele which includes joint replacement surgery, arthroscopic surgery, stem cell eye surgery, non invasive CT angiography, cardiology services and neonatology care. |
