Rural students and scholars of Jammu University have at a function felicitated Padamshri Prof Amitabh Mattoo, Vice Chancellor of University of Jammu, for being nominated as the member of the elite and prestigious National Knowledge Commission, which is under Planning Department Government of India.
In the function, the Kuldeep Raj Sharma, President of the Federation highlighted the achievements of Prof. Mattoo and his extreme cooperation for supporting and solving students and scholars problems on priority.
He demanded that the students and scholars from the periphery, especially the girls, should be given priority for hostel accommodation. |
