In a landmark decision, the central government has hiked the upper age limit of the aspirants of Jammu and Kashmir for central government jobs.
This has been done with a view to enable more people from Jammu and Kashmir to compete for the central government jobs. The state government had already hiked the upper age limit by five years in 2003.
