| Upper age goes up for central jobs | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | June 20 In a landmark decision, the central government has hiked the upper age limit of the aspirants of Jammu and Kashmir for central government jobs. This has been done with a view to enable more people from Jammu and Kashmir to compete for the central government jobs. The state government had already hiked the upper age limit by five years in 2003. According to official spokesman, the Ministry of personnel, public grievance and pensions, Government of India has relaxed the upper age limit by five years for recruitment to central services and posts in favour of residents of Jammu and Kashmir up to year 2009. |
