POONCH, Nov 27: As the second phase of B2V2 enters its third day, program on the theme of Beti Padhao Beti Bachao were organised in the panchayats of Ajote and Karmara. District Development Commissioner Rahul Yadav was present on the occasion along with other officers of District Administration. During the twin events, school bags and playing kits were given away to Girl students of the respective Panchayats. Baby care kits were also given to the Nursing mothers through ICDS department. At panchayat Gulpur, a Gram sabah was organised in presence of the DDC and visiting officer COE JKSSB Musheer Mirza. During the gram sabah interactions were held with the local people to seek feedback about developmental requirements. The people appraised about their issues and problems and sought better provision of water and power supply.
The DDC appraised the Gram Sabah about different schemes of the government and funds sanctioned to solve the issues of rural areas. He informed the people about "Har ghar nal" program to solve water related issues. He also informed about the upgradation of Receiving station at Gulpur.
Representatives of Different departments informed the gram sabah about the employment generation schemes by availing which they can start their own entrepreneurship. People were also made aware about huge returns in cultivation of pecan nut, poultry farming, besides latest agricultural Machinery.
Similar, activities were also organised in other panchayats by the designated visiting officers. |
