Pahalwan sweet shop at Gandhi Nagar area was looted lakhs of rupees by an imposter introducing himself a mediaman here today.Owner of the shop received a phone call by an unknown person in which the man introducing himself a mediaman said that he had bought a packet of Sundpanjari from the shop and found a cockroach in the box.He told him that the matter will be telecasted in the print and electronic media soon as he had made a CD over the matter.The deal was finalled on Rs two and half lakh to hush up the matter.Pahalwan sons reached in the press club and gave the amount which was demanded and received the CD from him.After few hours the man gave them call to take them the box containing cockroach and in return demanded fifty thousand which was refused by them.The man started giving them threatening calls that he had another CD which was televised soon.The pahalwan sons this time approached in the Gandhi Nagar police station.Police has registered a case in this regard and investigating the matter. |
