Jammu, Dec 2: Government High School, Old Satwari in collaboration with Bharti Foundation Jammu celebrated "Sports Spark Day 2019" on 30th November 2019 , at Sports Stadium Shumalli Mohalla , Panchayat Halqa Old Satwari Jammu. Kavinder Gupta (Ex - Deputy CM J & K State ) was the Chief Guest of the Occasion and Avatar Singh Chib (Naib Sarpanch, Panchayat Halqa, Old Satwari) was the Guest of Honour. The Sports Contingent drawn from different School Such as Government High School Old Satwari, Government Girls High School Bhour Camp , Sunrise Public School Channi Himmat, Government Middle School Shikligar Kullian, Government Middle School Hakkal, Government Primary School Hakkal, Government Primary School, Nath Colony of the Satwari Zone took part in the meet to show case their talent in different Sport Events. The meet started with the March Past by the different Contingents of the Various Schools, then the oath taking ceremony took place in which the Students took pledge to play with true sportsman spirits. The Students took part in the traditional Sports and athletics such as Tug of War, 200 mt. Race, Sack Race, Spoon Race, and Three Leg Race and shown their abilities in them. |
