| Blinds’ Federation lambasts SSRB | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | June 22 Lambasting State Services Recruit Board (SSRB) for its discriminatory attitude towards the blinds, Mohinder Singh Badyal, President National Federation of Blind, has alleged that none of the blind candidates have been short listed for interview which is being conducted from June 28, 2008. Addressing media persons here today, Badyal expressed grave concern over the neglect of the blind candidates by the SSRB and said that the recruiting agency has even failed to implement one percent reservation provided for the blinds. Appealing the Chief Minister to withdraw the Raina Committee report, Badyal demanded implementation of the report prepared by the Central government as also directing the SSRB to include blind candidates in the interview lists. |
