| Coalition deprived border migrants of basic essentialities: Bhau | | | Early Times Reporter Khour | June 22 National Conference leader Baldev Singh Bhau has charged the present coalition government of deliberately neglecting the people of border area and depriving them of all basic rights. This, he said while addressing a protest rally in Block Khour which was organized by Block President, Subash Sharma. He said the people of the border belt are suffering badly due to the anti border migrant policies of the government adding that the miseries of the people living on the border areas have increased many fold since the present coalition government has taken over. Referring to the skyrocketing prices of essential commodities, Bhau said “instead of providing succor to the poor people they (state govt) are hell bent upon to add fuel to the fire”. Alleging step motherly treatment with the border migrants, he said border people have lost every hope with the present government. All the promises, which the present dispensation has made with the Migrants in their election manifesto and common minimum programme have not been fulfilled and all those tall claims have proved to be cheap hollow slogans, raised by the coalition partners to garner votes. Addressing the gathering Mohan Lal and Subash Sharma also called upon the party workers to work unitedly start door to door campaign highlighting the programme of National Conference. |
