One person was reportedly injured in a clash at Paid Devta, Nagrota near here today. The clash occurred between two families at the religious place when both the families became adamant on having bath first. Members from Bishnah family identified as Kala Chand s/o Tara Chand and Rastu Lal s/o Chaman Lal and members of Satwari family Suresh s/o Ghara Ram and Joginder s/o Munshi Ram entered into the clash for having bath first, sources said. They added that during the clash Joginder received injuries. Soon after the incident Nagrota police reached the spot but till then the accused of injuring Joginder had fled away. The injured were taken to nearby chemist shop for treatment. Sources informed that police has seized a matador bearing registration number JK02H-3101 belonging to the accused but was later released. |
