| BJP holds blood donation camp on Mukerjee's shaheedi divas | | | Early Times Reporter

Paying tributes to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukerjee on his shaheedi Divas, Bhartia Janta Party on Monday organized a blood donation camp at government hospital Ganchi Nagar in which more than thirty party activists donated their blood.
On the Shaheedi Divas of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerji, who sacrificed his life on this day in 1953 fighting against provision of permit system in the state, District Jammu BJP, led by Distt. President Rajesh Gupta, paid tributes to the great personality for his sacrifices.
BJP State President, Ashok Khajuria said this day reminds us of the great sacrifice of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerji, the then National President of Bharatiya Jana Sangh, who opposed tooth and nail the permit system and gave slogan of—Ek Vidhaan, Ek Nishaan, Ek Pradhan. Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerji said that Jammu and Kashmir was an integral part of India and hence there was no need of having separate flag, seperate constitution or separate Prime Minister.
Ashok Khajuria said that the present developments in the state need a leader like Dr. Mookerji to lead the patriotic people for giving a befitting reply to all such forces which are posing threat to the unity and integrity of the country and playing worst form of communalism. |
