Jammu, Dec 10: The Crescent Public School Janipur celebrated its 15th Annual day at General zorawar Singh Auditorium, Jammu University amidst zeal and fervour.
The Annual day function started with the lighting of the traditional lamp by chief guest Farooq Ahmed Khan advisor to Lt. Governor, Guest of honour Dr. Chand Trehan (Clinical Psychology Counsellor and Consultant) and other dignitaries who attended the school function.
The School administration on this occasion highlighted the achievements of the school in both co-curricular and Academics activities. The function started with cultural program with students attired in various religious dresses and even one of the female staff member of the school participated in the dance which left the audience spellbound amid her fascinating performance which has been appreciated by the participants. Toddlers also took part in dance which enthrall the audience.
While addressing the gathering, Dr. Chand Trehan stressed for the discipline need to be inculcated in the students.
She further appeal to the parents to remain in touch with their childrens till they attain 14 years of age as same is very crucial for their life- even for their future.
She also cautioned the people about the growing menace of drug culture in Jammu and ask the parents to remain alert.
