NYK organises Swachhta Bharat Programme

Jammu, Dec 11: Nehru Yuva Kendra Jammu organized Swachhta Bharat program me at P.W.D conference hall at Gandhinagar Jammu .More than 150 participants drawn from various Youth Club Mahila Mandals of Dist Jammu and samba participated. Objective of program me to disseminate information about the life and works of mahatma Gandhi among the youth, to aware youth aware of cleanliness, sanitation, elimination of annual scavenging and promotion of ODF' to give them exposure orientation to understand essential oneness of all religion, social harmony community service and above all unity and diversity of Indian life. To make youth aware of the threat post by destructive forces and make them prepared to safe guard common heritage of the country. On the occasion Director General Youth Service and Sports Dr Salim- Ul - Rehman was the Chief Guest while addressing the youth stressed upon the swachta in which he conveyed about the important of swachta and suggests all of them to participate in all the activities with full interest. State Director Nehru Yuva Kendra Jammu Bikram Singh Gill aware the participant about the cleanliness and also motivated the volunteers to adopt their village and to convey the message of swatchta to all the people living there.
