| Women credit cooperative awareness camp organized | | | Early Times Reporter

Advisor to Chief Minister, Janak Raj Gupta today inaugurated an awareness camp of Women Credit Cooperative at Marh.
Speaking on the occasion, Gupta said that women who constitute 49 percent of total population are downtrodden and lagging behind in development. He said that such cooperatives provide economic assistance to women for starting self-employment ventures thereby contributing to their economic upliftment.
Stating that UPA Chairperson, Sonia Gandhi during her recent address to women conference has emphasized on women welfare schemes such as SGSY, loans for self-employment etc are being implemented for socio-economic development of women.
On the occasion, Gupta also distributed cheques of loans to potential women entrepreneurs. |
