| Banker’s record highest ever achievement under action plan | | | Early Times Reporter

Additional District Development Commissioner Jammu, Charanjit Singh reviewed the achievements of Banks under Annual Action Plan (AAP) 2007-08 during the DLRC/DCC meeting convened by SBI Lead Bank, here today.
Chief Manager, Lead Bank R. K. Koul presenting a resume of performance of Banks in Jammu district apprised that during the last fiscal, loans worth Rs. 1330.37 crore were disbursed, of which Rs. 674 crore were disbursed under priority sector covering 15052 beneficiaries against the target of Rs. 451 crore registering 150 percent achievement.
Speaking on the occasion Charanjit Singh lauded the Banks for their overall performance and contribution to the economic development. He called upon the line departments and the bankers to work with revolutionary zeal for ensuring that poor and under privileged sections of society is benefited. He urged upon the bankers for devising concerted action plan for achieving 100 percent financial targets by March next.
The meeting was also attended by Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) Rajnder Singh, CPO Ram Rattan, ACD A.A. Mirza, LDO RBI, Samriti Bhagat DDO NABARD, BDSM (JKB), S. L. Koul and District Coordinator PNB A. K. Mota, and other senior officers from banks and government departments. |
