| Praja Parishad seeks Guv’s sanction to prosecute Baig | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | June 24 State president of Praja Parishad Chander Mohan Sharma today filed a petition before the state governor seeking permission to prosecute state cabinet minister Muzaffar Hussain Baig and M.P, Mehbooba Mufti for communalizing the situation arised due to transfer of forest land to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board. As per press release, Sharma accused Congress of bowing before PDP for their unreasonable demands on the issue which is reflected from the chief minister’s decision of postponing the cabinet meeting and appointing a committee to probe PDP’s allegation against the chief executive officer of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board. This is to coerce the officials looking after the affairs of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board and amounts to interference in the religious affairs of Hindus. He has ridiculed the plea of ecology and pollution over the mere documentary transfer of land to Hindu religious shrine board describing the fact that Kashmiris have themselves looted and plundered the forest wealth of J&K and polluted its ecology and environment. He questioned who is responsible for the decay of Dal and Wullar lakes? Why these Kashmiris did not speak when 5000 kanals of city forest lande was brutually cleaned of green forest and converted for royal spring golf course for the pleasure of few elites. He challenged of these leaders why they have been mute specatators on plundering of forest belt and encroachment of Bathindi, Sunjwan and other forest lands by big fish. He lambasted Mufti Mohd. Sayeed, Muzzaffar Hussain baig and Dr. Farooq Abdullah for their communal and outrageous views expressed over the non-issue and it has fully exposed all these so called mainstream Kashmiri politicians that they are anti-Hindu from core of their heart and are no less parochial than the separatists and anti-Indian element in Jammu and Kashmir. He called the people of Jammu to expose these hypocrites and ask the people of Jammu province for social boycott of PDP and separatist leaders, operating in the region. |
