| Major tragedy averted, police busts hideout in Doda | | | Early Times Reproter

Jammu and Kashmir police today claimed to have averted a major tragedy after it recovered huge quantity of arms and ammunition including a pressure mine at Keendhar Gandoh area of mountainous district Doda.
Police sources said that on specific information, police launched a search operation in general area of Keendhar 38 Kms away from Gandoh and busted a militant hideout there.
Three RPG cells, three UBGL Cells, one HE 36 Grenade, one Pressure Mine ID, one LMG Magazine and some other ration items were recovered from the hideout thereby averting a major tragedy that could have struck the area.
"A major tragedy was averted by timely detection of some grenades and Pressure Mine (ID) at Keendhar Gandoh" a police officer claimed. |
