JURSEA gheroed economics department

The Jammu University Research Scholar Executive Association (JURSEA) protested in front of economics department after locking the department for nearly one and half hour against the alleged wrong attitude of the Head of the Department.
As per a press release President JURSEA Vikas Sharma said that the Head of the Department is involved in number of irregularities like delaying in forwarding of thesis of the scholars from the department and favoring his own scholars who are working in the department on adhocbasis. Moreover , most of his scholars had their viva done within days of submission whereas other scholars wait for months for viva voices.
Sharma said protest was a warning to all heads who indulge in these types of injustice .A copy of representation was also given to the Vice Chancellor where it was demanded that inquiry must be initiated against the head and should be removed if found guilty.
Others present in the protest included Kamaldeep Singh, Narinder Singh, Harpal Singh, Minakshi, Sunaiana Koul, Jaswinder Singh, parmeet Singh and Davinder Singh.
