| EHA organizes Paragliding joyrides at Sanasar | | | Early Times Reporter
Jammu | June 24
An agency working to get Jammu on the adventure tourism map of the country, the Extreme Himalayan Adventures (EHA) has been organising paragliding joyrides at Sanasar, 20 kms from the hill station of Patnitop in district Udhampur.
“The joyrides can be taken by all age groups and are especially popular with the kids,” CEO of the EHA, Dr Thakur Naveen Kotwal said.
To experience the ride, the passanger is attached to the pilot and the paraglider and on running down the hill slope the glider takes off. The flight gives one an experience of free flight and lands at the meadow below.
The activity, as per Dr Kotwal, is being conducted to tap and promote the immense adventure sports potential of Jammu region and also to get Jammu on the adventure tourism map of India. |
