| KAS officer from Doda receives National Award | | |

Jammu, Dec 19: KAS officer Athar Amin Zargar presently posted as BDO Kahara received National Award for best implementation of Geo MGNREGA at Country (national) level throughout India announced for the year 2018-19 by Govt of India. As per the details available with Early Times, the award to Athar Amin Zarger was presented today at National Capital New Delhi by Narinder Singh Tomar, Union Cabinet Minister For Rural Development in presence of Union MOS for MORD Sadhvi Niranjan Joti. The award was presented at C. Subrhamanyam Auditorum Pusa Road New Delhi in a Jam Packed gathering of dignitaries which included Union Secretary MGNREGA Amarjeet Sinha (IAS) and Kamran Rizvi (IAS) who is Jt. Secretary Govt of India for Ministry of Rural Development (MORD). Amongst several RDD ministers and Chief Secretaries from different States of India was also present on this occasion along with R K Badyal (KAS) Additional Secretary RDD Union Territory of J&K was also present with Athar Amin Zargar to recieve the National Award.
The officer was also presented with Two State level Awards during his Previous Stint as Assistant Director FCS&CA (food supplies), beside also had given successful tenures in Industries and Commerce department and Revenue department in erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir. The officer witnesses several transfers during short tenure in Food supplies department during PDP-BJP government- which has been seen as punishment to him for his honesty. |
