| Beig's stand blot on age old Kashmir traditions | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | June 25 Describing PDP's and the Deputy Chief Minister Muzaffer Beig's stand on transfer of land to SASB at Baltal as a blot on the age old traditions of Kashmir, Shakti Dal on Wednesday has asked the valley based politicians to avoid mixing politics with religion for the betterment of society. In a press conference organized here on Wednesday, President Shakti Dal, Kuldeep Sharma expressed his grave concern over the 'filthy and unconstitutional' language being used by Beig and his colleagues said that Beig is not only dividing the people but also destroying the Kashmir image across the world. Describing the stand of Beig and his colleagues as purely communal, he said that the Hindus of India have never objected for sanction of subsidy to Haj pilgrims while as all the hue and cry was made for the land at Baltal. He said that the prevailing hue and cry the leaders of PDP clarifies the fact that the so called main stream politicians of Valley carry forward the hidden agenda of cleasing minorities which has been the plan of separatist leaders. Coming down heavily on government, he asked that how government transformed the forest land at Bathindi Jammu and allotted it to Kashmiries, adding that the government should cancel the allotment as they have polluted the water of Tawi which is the only source of potable water for entire city. Criticizing the politicization of land at Baltal, He said that Kashmiri Muslims are the main beneficiaries of the Yatra which has been their one of the big sources of bread and butter from years together. |
