Early Times Reporter Jammu | June 25 State Vigilance Organization is organizing 8th biannual Departmental Vigilance Officer’s conference on Saturday June, 28 at SKICC, Srinagar. About 250 DVOs of state, provincial and district level are expected to participate in the conference which is being inaugurated by the Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad. The inaugural function also includes welcome address by the Commissioner of Vigilance, address by the Chief Secretary, release of SVO Manual, and presentation of mementos to outstanding DVOs namely Mohammed Akbar Mir, Addl. DDC, Baramulla, Abdul Rashid Shah, Dy. Chief Education Officer, Kulgam and Sunil Misri, Project Officer, Cut Flower Project, Floriculture Department. Srinagar. In the first business session there will be presentation on “contribution of DVOs in strengthening internal vigilance” by Rafu-ul-Hassan, DIG (Vigilance), “Implementation of Anti-Corruption Laws” by Ashok Bhan, Commissioner of Vigilance and presentation by M.S Khan, Secretary, RDD on the topic “internal vigilance in government departments through monitoring and inspections”. In the second business session there will be presentations by two subject experts, Vishaish Uppal of National Campaign People’s Right to Information, New Delhi and A.K Dhul, IGP Haryana on “Implementation of Right to Information Act” and “Internal Vigilance in PSUs” respectively. |
