| Luthra appeals women folk to strengthen NC | | | Early Times Reporter Doda | June 25 Saying that it was high time that the women wing activists should unite themselves and further strengthen the on-going wave in favour of National Conference, said Bimla Luthra, Provincial President, J&K National Conference Women Wing, Jammu province while addressing women wing workers meeting at Kishtwar and Doda. The people of the state especially those living in far flung and remote areas of the state have a bitter experience of the present coalition rule and people are now eying on National Conference to lead them, she said. NC leader said National Conference has always worked for the poor and downtrodden and shall continue to work for their welfare in further as well. She castigated the present coalition government for ignoring the interest of the women folk in the state. She appealed the party workers to prepare themselves for the forth coming assembly elections and take program and policies of the party at every door step and work hard to ensure massive victory of the party in the assembly elections. The meeting was also attended by Khalid Najeeb Suhrawardhy, former Minister & senior Party leader and Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo, District President & MLA Kishtwar. On this occasion the Provincial President Women Wing nominated Nuzhat Iqbal Zargar as District President Women Wing Doda and Nusrat Farooq and Tasleem Kichloo as Sr. Vice President and District Secretary of Women Wing for District Kishtwar. Prominent among others who were present on the occasion included Prveen Akther, Rubeena Begum, Ragiqua Begum, Shehnaz Indrabi, Dishshad Begum and Manveer Kour. |
