Sikh organizations flay PDP for disturbing communal harmony

Various Sikh organizations of the state have condemned the role of PDP and other leaders and organizations who are allegedly bent upon to disturb communal harmony of the state by dividing the society on communal and regional basis.
Addressing a press conference here today former president J&K Gurudwara Parbhandak board, .Sudarshan Singh Wazir said Mufti Syeed and his PDP is playing a double role with regard to transfer of land to Sri Amarnath Shrine board. He lambasted Mufti and his party for trying to befool masses on the issue of transfer of land to Shrine board. Wazir said Mufti and his party are involved in transferring land to shrine board, but now taking political mileage from the issue by demanding relocation of the said transfer order, which is highly unethical and devoid of moral collective responsibility of the Government.
Wazir called upon the PDP and its leadership not to fish in the troubled waters by vitiating the secular fabric of the state .He further warned all such elements of dire consequences who are bent upon disturbing the communal harmony of the state by dividing the society on the communal and regional basis and also called upon all progressive forces to join hands to expose leaders like Mufti and his party PDP.
Among others who spoke in the press conference were S. Narbir Singh, president J&K youth Akali Dal, S.Pramjeet Singh, president All India Sikh Student federation and S. Mohinder Singh, Chief organizer of Bhai Kanhiya Nishkam Seva Society, Rajinder singh, S. Kulwant Singh, Kultar Singh, Gajan Singh, Devinder Singh and S. Harjeet Singh.
