Brigadier KK Chopra, VSM Commander 71 Sub Area inaugurated renovated exchange at 1 Field Ordnance Depot on 29 Aug 06. As a result of concerted efforts, telephone exchange of the depot has been renovated on self help basis by depot military and civilian employees. The erstwhile dilapidated building and switch room have been transformed into an air conditioned, state of art facility. The exchange will further improve communication inside and outside the depot and assist in enhancing security arrangement.
Brigadier K K Chopra, VSM Commander 71 Sub Area on this occasion also complimented Colonel Mukul Singhal, Commandant 1 FOD and his team on the welfare activities being undertaken for depot employees.
