Health mela held

In yet another step towards welfare of population living in remote areas alongwith the line of control in Poonch District, Army organized “Health cum Awareness Mela” as part of Operation Sadbhavana.
The mela organized by Bhimber Gali Brigade for villagers of Ramluta, Bhruti, Kanga, Dhargalhun, Chhapardharan, Galota, Sasuta, Dabbi forward, Basuni, Panjani, Sohala, Sande, Balakot and Dharati covered multifaceted aspects of the lives of the people to include medical attention to people and animal, immunization and advice on agriculture and horticulture.
Army Doctors provided treatment to the villagers in which the civil administration and district hospital Rajouri provided five specialists including lady doctors and immunization team alongwith other medical staff for assistance Sher-e-Kashmir Agriculture College, Rajouri provided scientists to provide advice on increasing the crop yield and horticulture. Free treatment to animals was also provided by Army doctors at the location.
