| Shelikchay-Hundurman link road completed under PMGSY | | | Early Times Reporter

The 9 km link road Shelikchay-Hundurman-Broq constructed under PMGSY has been completed at a cost of Rs 294 lakhs. This information was given to Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC Kargil, Asgar Ali Karbalie, during his visit to the area.
The CEC announced an additionality of Rs.10 lakhs for extension of the link road and directed the concerned to initiate work on it immediately.
He also inspected those areas where crops were damaged due to shortage of water in the irrigation khuls and instructed the Tehsildar to depute the revenue officials to conduct survey of the damages caused to the crops. He also directed the Irrigation and Flood Control Department to restore the old spring to provide irrigation facilities to the farmers. |
