| PeTs criticize government of backtracking from promise | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | June 26 The leaders of Unemployed Trained Physical Education Teachers Association has charged the government of failing to fulfill the promise made to the unemployed trained physical education teachers for their adjustment in government jobs. Addressing media persons here today, Satish Kumar Tak, president of the association alleged that the senior ministers of the government continued to befool the PET’s for over three years by repeating the promise that they were framing a policy to absorb all the trained PETs in Rehabr-e-Khel Scheme on the pattern of Rehabr-e-Taleem scheme. He further said that now the government has betrayed the unemployed PET’s when they advertised posts without making any provision for absorbing the trained PET’s who have crossed the upper age limit specified in the advertisement. The Government has ignored even its own order issued by GAD whereby the recruitment boards were required to consider the over aged persons also for appointment and Chief Minister is to relax age on recommendation of Recruitment Board, he added. The teachers charged the government of perusing discriminatory policy and demanded absorption of all the trained unemployed Physical Education Teachers of the state on regular or Rehbar-e-Khel basis by relax the age. |
